Dragonkind Retry Timer
When a dragon incinerates you in the Threshing Day game, Dragonkind locks you out for a 4:00 countdown before you can step back into the Vale. This unofficial timer mirrors that burn cooldown: start it when you burn, keep it open (or close the tab — it remembers), and it tells you exactly when you can re-enter the Threshing.
04:00
How the retry timer works
The official cooldown is four minutes from the moment you are burned. Hit start as soon as the countdown appears in the game, and this page tracks the same window. The end time is stored in your browser, so refreshing or closing the tab does not reset it — come back and the timer is still honest. A short log of recent cooldowns stays on this device only: nothing is uploaded, no account is connected, and the timer never touches your game save.
Threshing Day game cooldown: quick answers
- How long is the Dragonkind retry? Four minutes (4:00) from the moment your cadet is incinerated. The countdown appears in the official game itself; this page is a bigger, harder-to-lose mirror of it.
- Can I shorten the burn cooldown? No. The 4:00 lockout is part of the official game, and there is no known way around it. Any site claiming otherwise is not the official game.
- What if I close the game while waiting? Your progress is saved to your email login. Close Dragonkind, let this timer run, sign back in when it hits zero.
- Do burns hurt my final result? There is no evidence they do. Players commonly report three or four burns before bonding, and the game treats retries as part of the ritual, not a punishment.
Tips for the next attempt
- Burns are normal. Players commonly go through three or four before a dragon bonds with them, so do not read a single burn as failure.
- Your choices shape each run — the walkthrough explains what the Vale sequence is testing and what players have learned so far.
- While you wait, read up on the coming signet phase or check the current campaign status.
